The sign-up period to lead hikes for March of 2025 is open until the deadline on Friday, January 31st at midnight.  This is a new deadline date as we are easing into the new scheduling period for 2025; which will be the 20th of the month to the last day of the month.  Please log in to the CHC website at:  https://clevelandhikingclub.org/hike-scheduling/ and add some hikes.  

Once you are done entering your hikes, remember to run the “Schedule of Activities by Leader” and check to make sure all of your information entered is correct.  You can find this on the same page where you scheduled your hikes.  We appreciate your help in verifying your information and notifying us as quickly as possible if there are any issues. The information appearing on the hiking schedule is the information you entered, please review it.

HIKE LEADERS:  Please be extra alert and check on your hikers over the next couple of days.  Even the most experienced hikers can have difficulty with the extreme temperatures, deep snow and icy trails.  Hikers without water can easily become dehydrated with the extra exertion due to the conditions. Please regroup when necessary.  It is extremely dangerous to have hikers get behind the group in this weather.  Do your best to get everyone safely back to their vehicle.
