C J will be 90 years old on July 21st and we originally wanted to have a Big Birthday Bash. Then she told us that she is moving to Cincinnati – and soon – her goal is to be gone by the middle of June! 

So, we switched gears and have planned a Goodbye Get Together Potluck Brunch for June 7th – 11:00 AM at the Cabin – details in the June Newsteps. We want everyone who ever knew C J to be aware of the party and are asking all of you to help spread the word so that ALL are included. 

Please note that Sherry Widdowson is the contact person for all transportation needs. We want to make sure that everyone who needs a ride can get one. Please let her know if you would be willing to drive others. Thanks, in advance.

To help make this move a little less painful, we want to help C J make a unique book of memories. We are asking everyone to contribute a “page” (or as many as you’d like) – standard 8 1/2 x 11″. (Sleeve protectors will be provided so that all pages can be added to a binder).

Be creative and personalize it however you want – simple or elaborate – include: stories, memories, thoughts, messages, jokes, anecdotes, pictures, etc. Remember to include your own contact information. You can bring them the day of the party or you can send them to Pat Ayers via email or snail mail and I will make sure they are included.

Birthday cards are also welcome.
