Please review the information below for these hikes on Saturday, June 14.

** 9:30 am City Sneakers

Just a reminder that there’s  an 8 mile City Sneakers hike this Sat, June 14th at 9:30 am, meeting at the Gordon boat ramp. Come explore the cultural gardens and the beautiful, historic, neighborhoods surrounding them. Bring a picnic lunch and stay and socialize afterward.  Barbara Appel  barbarajoappel@gmail.com

** 12:30 pm Cavotta’s Garden Center Concert Hike

If you are planning on hiking and staying for the concert afterwards (or just coming for the concert), I just found out Cavotta’s has started charging a $5 cover charge for popular bands. The band, Pieces of Eight is definitely popular and will have a good turnout. They will be playing from 3-6. Cavotta’s offers food and beverages so no outside items allowed. Hopefully we will be able to grab a couple tables. No chairs can be brought in. I will try and remember to bring some blankets so we can spread out in the grass area if we can’t get tables. Hope to see you there!!    Denise Balint (216) 496-6228

** 2:00 pm Brew Hike

Looking forward to socializing on Saturday, June 14th at Haven Brewing in Oberlin, where we’ll be making an optional stop near the end of our 5-mile hike which begins at 2:00 from the Tappan Square bandstand.

If you wish to come early, there are a variety of things to enjoy beforehand – perhaps have lunch in town, browse the unique shops, walk the Oberlin College campus, or view the galleries at the Allen Memorial Art Museum (which has free admission and opens at 10:00 a.m.).
