The sign-up period to lead hikes for October of 2025 is open from Wednesday, August 20th, until the deadline on Sunday, August 31st at midnight.  Please log in to the CHC website at:  https://clevelandhikingclub.org/hike-scheduling/ and add some hikes.  Many community events are still happening, check your city/local parks for information. 

Sunset on October 1st is 7:07 p.m. and it is at 6:22 p.m. on October 31st.  You still will have approximately an hour of light left til twilight ends.  Please take this into consideration if you are scheduling a hike in the woods.  

Once you are done entering your hikes, remember to run the “Schedule of Activities by Leader” and check to make sure all of your information entered is correct.  You can find this on the same page where you scheduled your hikes.  We appreciate your help in verifying your information and notifying us as quickly as possible if there are any issues. 

The scheduling period ends on the last day of the month, please review your information and let me know by the 2nd of the following month (September 2nd) if you have any errors to correct. The information appearing on the hiking schedule is the information you entered, please review it carefully.
