“Hike, Shop and Eat” at the Gear Swap, Sat June 15th at Camp Onwego.
The 8th CHC Gear Swap event is taking place this Saturday, June 15th at the cabin. Please come out and join us for a fun filled day.
Hike: Choose from 3 hikes starting at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM leaving from the camp parking lot (see June schedule for hike descriptions)
Shop: The Gear Sale is from @11:45 AM– 2:00 PM featuring new or “gently used” hiking gear, clothing, shoes, etc. Good deals, great prices, new treasures… PLEASE NOTE – The start time of 11:30 AM in the June schedule is incorrect! The Swap will not begin until after all the hikers are back from the morning hikes
Eat: Join us for grilled hot dogs and chips starting @ 12:15 PM
Attendees can drop off merchandise on the day of the Gear Swap by 11:00 AM or prior to the 3 hikes by placing items on the porch of the bunkhouse or bringing to the cabin. Designated Gear Swap collectors are still accepting items this week if you cannot make it out to the cabin.
ALL ITEMS must be tagged using the special sales slip for the swap.
(Lucy will be at the cabin helping as usual so please bring your cans!!)
