There are still numerous issues remaining in the North Chagrin Reservation after this month’s storms. The park staff must be given the time and space to remove the fallen trees and debris from the park. The safety of our hikers is always our major concern.

All official CHC hikes in the North Chagrin Reservation continue to be relocated to other parks. For the month of September, hikes are being relocated to a park of the leader’s choosing. Please check the Schedule of Activities for the hike you wish to attend. Please refer to the list of changes in this eblast, and also on the CHC website Home Page, to find the hike leader’s new location. These changes only apply to the hikes in the North Chagrin area.

We are in contact with the Cleveland Metroparks and will keep you updated as to the progress being made in the North Chagrin Reservation.  We hope this relocation of hikes will only last for a short time.  We hope to return to our regular schedule as soon as possible.
