Annual General Meeting, Reunion Hike, Pot Luck and Hot Dog Roast

Ready to see some hiking friends? It’s been a while since we had a club meeting, a potluck, or a reunion hike because of that pesky pandemic. We will hold our Annual General Meeting and Reunion Hikes at Camp Onwego on Saturday, August 7, 2021. We will start the day with four hikes. There will be two moderate hikes: a 7-mile hike at 8:30 am led by Ron Hueter, and a 5-mile hike led by Mary Kurtz at 9:00 am. MaryAnn Chee will lead a 3-mile leisure hike at 10:00 am, and Bob Kimmelfield will lead a 1-mile slow hike at 10:30 am.

After these hikes, we will meet at camp at 11:00 am for a social hour followed by a potluck and hot dog roast hosted by Debbie Wood, Claudia Winowich, Susan Stebner and Bob DiVincenzo. Following some outdoor dining and mingling, we will start the Annual General Meeting at 12:00 pm. You will have an opportunity to meet candidates running for office and board positions, to recognize our 40-mile hikers, and to applaud some other member achievements. Please bring a beverage and something to share with the grilled hot dogs that will be provided. Paper plates, napkins and plastic utensils will also be provided.
