Annual Kids’ Day

Kids and fun go together, so let’s include some basic information about Kids’ Day and how CHC treats our little friends to a good time at Camp Onwego. To begin with, this is a no-cost event covered by CHC. The big deal of the day is Jungle Terry and his cast of animal friends! He never fails to delight our guests with his engaging presentations. Other fun-filled activities will be scheduled and a light lunch provided. Please keep the date in mind for now. We look forward to seeing you and your youngsters at Camp Onwego this autumn. Please bring your empty aluminum cans for our recycling effort!
Call for Volunteers
We would like your help in volunteering for this event. You may choose from helping at the sign-up, guiding folks around or assisting children with activities. If you like mealtime duties – setting up, serving, taking down and cleaning up are some of the options.
Finally, we would like to have a few teenagers who like to work with children, who can connect with our young friends and help them with activities. Teens often receive credit through their school or church groups for volunteering at functions. Please pass the message along to them and have them contact one of us about the opportunity
