Our annual Soup Supper will be on Sunday, April 6th, from 4 to 6 pm at the Camp Onwego cabin. Our expert soup makers will provide delicious homemade soups for everyone to enjoy. As an extra bonus, there will be hikes from the camp prior to the supper. Check the April hiking schedule for details.

If you would like to make soup, please call Janet or Patty. We’ll need to know the main ingredients and if it is vegetarian (no meat or meat stock) or gluten free. The detailed information will be listed on a table tent in front of your crockpot of soup.

There is no cost to attend. If you are not making soup, we ask that you bring the following:

Last name begins with A-J: Bring a salad for 8-10 servings. Some salad ideas are leafy greens (include dressing), spinach, pasta, grains, fruit, potato salad, coleslaw, vegetable salad or vegetable tray, Jell-O, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, etc.
Last name begins with K-Q: Bring homemade/artisan bread, rolls, muffins, scones, etc., 8-10 servings. We will provide butter.
Last name begins with R-Z: Bring a dessert for 8-10 servings. It would be very helpful if you cut the dessert into serving-sized portions.

Also, remember to bring non-disposable place settings, bowls, silverware, and a beverage. We’ll provide coffee and tea.

It is very important that you make a reservation, because we are limited in the number of tables and chairs that can fit in the cabin. Maximum is 55. Please email Rita Bennett at CHCreservations19@gmail.com (preferred) or leave a message at 330-468-6229 by March 28th. Don’t wait until the last minute, because this event fills up quickly.
