Toledo One Day Bus Trip

This trip includes hikes, deluxe motorcoach transportation, CHC group leader, Metroparks naturalist, meal, snacks, and sightseeing throughout. The trip was quite popular and successful last year; we decided to do it again this year. We look forward to another fun time with the CHC. All are welcome. Join us!

If you enjoy exploring art, you simply must visit Toledo. The Toledo Museum of Art has a fabulous collection in several buildings – all marvels of remarkable architectural beauty. Collections include works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Monet, Picasso, Chihuly, and many more. The amazing glass pavilion has a live glass blowing demonstration.

We will also hike through the Old West End neighborhood and East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie. Throughout the day, we will hike six to seven total miles. A special Italian luncheon with choice of soups, salads, and entrees is included.

Pickup/drop off points are:
Eastside: Kohls – Wilson Mills Rd/I-271: 7:30am/7:00pm
Westside: Target – Brookpark Rd/east of Great Northern Blvd: 8:15 am/6:30pm

Official trip registration starts on Saturday, July 27, by email only. One person can make reservations for up to four people. All reservations received between 6 am and 12 noon will be treated equally. If we have too many reservations, I will pull names out of a hat (lottery). If space is still available, reservations may be accepted after July 27.
