Sandra L. Edmonds, affectionately known as Sandy, left this world on January 11, 2026, at the age of 71, in the comfort of her home in Olmsted Township, Ohio. Born on August 24, 1954, in Lakewood, Ohio, Sandy’s sense of humor and infectious laughter shaped the lives of all who knew her.

Sandy was raised in Lakewood, Ohio graduating from Lakewood High School in 1972 and went on to earn her degree from Kent State University in 1976. She worked in commercial Insurance for over 49 Years

She was an avid hiker and animal lover with a great sense of adventure and an even greater sense of humor.

Family was the cornerstone of Sandy’s world, and she is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 43 years, Joel; her children, Danielle (Mat) and Nicholas; and her beloved cats, Penny and Pete. She is also survived by her brother, Jim Heide (Ruth); and her nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Sam, and Ben (Wes) Heide. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert (Bob) and Margaret (Peg) Heide, and her brother, Jeffery Carl Heide
