Reactivating Your Membership

Has it been less than a year since your membership lapsed (i.e., you were a member last year but haven’t paid this year’s dues)?

There are two ways to pay dues and late fee to reactivate your membership:

Your membership will be reactivated as of the first Sunday following receipt of your dues and late fee.  You’ll receive credit for the mileage you accumulated while your membership was in force.

Reinstating Your Membership

Has it been a year or more since your membership lapsed? If you would like to reinstate your membership in CHC, it is not necessary to complete the six-hike requirement, but you will need to fill out a Reinstatement Application and Liability Release, and pay a reinstatement fee along with current year dues. Membership will be reinstated as of the first Sunday following receipt of your forms and fees, unless another date is specified.  You will receive credit for the mileage you accumulated prior to your lapse in membership (if it can be determined).

(PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FORM TO JOIN CHC if you are not a past member.  An invitation to join will be emailed to you within 7 days of the completion of your 6th hike.)
