Due to storm damage on Tuesday, there is road closure on Hopkins Road just before Veterans Park in Mentor if you are coming on rt 615 from rt 2. If you plan to hike Veterans Park on Thursday, 8/8 at 10:00 a.m., you should plan to enter Hopkins Rd from Lakeshore Blvd. There’s a bait shop on the corner of that intersection. If Hopkins should be closed from Lakeshore Blvd, the hike will be moved to the Mentor Lagoons.
