Again in 2026, CHC is partnering with the Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF), which runs from April 19th through the 26th. This is the 13th year that CHC has been participating. CHC’s partner film is Remaining Native, showing April 12th at 4:50 pm at Cedar Lee and on April 13th at 5:35 pm at Playhouse Square. We would like a strong Cleveland Hiking Club presence to keep our partnership secure.
On Sunday, April 12, there will be a 4-mile hike starting at 2:00 p.m. from the Cedar Lee Theatre, followed by a social gathering at The Stone Oven. Remaining Native begins at 4:50 p.m. (film ends around 6:17 p.m.). At 7:30 p.m., the premiere of Normal, starring Bob Odenkirk, Henry Winkler, and Lena Headey will be featured. Come for the hike, come for dinner, come for a night of movies; something for everyone.
Also, Hiking Through Grief will be showing at the 50th Cleveland International Film Festival at Playhouse Square on April 15 at 7:20 p.m. as part of the Local Heroes film block.
Early access for CIFF 50 members begins March 11. Sales to the general public open March 18. Act quickly to secure seats for the films. Use the discount code CHC, which is good for a savings of $1 per ticket. We strongly suggest purchasing tickets in advance.
