There is still time to make a reservation for the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at the Camp Onwego cabin in Hinckley on Saturday, August 22, starting at 4:00 pm.
This event is open to active volunteer members that have led at least four hikes or volunteered ten hours between August 2025 and August 2026. To reserve your seat for this event, you must RSVP by Friday, August 14, by contacting Rita Bennett at CHCreservations19@gmail.com.
To facilitate your reservation, include the following in your email:
• The number of hikes led and/or hours volunteered (e.g., hike leader, led twenty hikes from August 2025 to present; Pathfinder Committee, 15 hours volunteer time from August 2025 to present).
• Your desire for vegetarian or vegan meal.
Place settings will be provided for this event; there is no need to bring your own. Appetizers, dinner, dessert, and beverages will be provided. This event is always well attended and often exceeds the capacity of our parking lot. Please try to carpool with other members to accommodate everyone. Arrive no earlier than the start time at 4:00 pm.
