Long-time member Sandy (Sanford) Jaffe died on Friday night, July 3. He was 100 years old. Sandy and Elaine Jaffe were active and enthusiastic hikers for many years. They traveled with the club and made many friends. Sandy was also instrumental in getting the Cleveland Hiking Club on the internet, in the early years. Although unable to hike any longer, Sandy and Elaine are current paid members of the club.

Sandy’s funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 8, at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts., Ohio 44118.
